Jackson Pyles (2016 RHP, Macon, GA) had his fastball top out at 83mph this afternoon to go with a slider at 72mph and his changeup at 74mph. Pyles has a quick arm action with good life on his fastball and his good deception with his changeup.
Chandler Hardiman (2016 LHP, Fayetteville, TN) had his fastball sitting 79-83mph and his slider at 72mph. Hardiman does a good job of getting downhill with a deceptive delivery and did a good job of pitching to both sides of the plate. At the plate Hardiman had 2 hits today including a double in his last at bat. Hardiman has strength in his swing with lift and does a good job of driving the ball.
Ryan Fortgang (2016 OF, Woodstock, GA) had a good showing at the plate today as well. Fortgang consistently barreled the ball up and has good bat speed.
Will West (2016 RHP, Niceville, FL) was 81-85mph on his fastball while mixing in a slider at 74mph and a changeup at 77mph. West has a short compact arm action pitching from an over the top arm slot. West throws his fastball to both sides of the plate and has good sweeping action on his slider.
Alec Tauro (2016 1B, Melrose, MA) had his fastball top out at 86mph this afternoon to go with his curveball at 70mph and his changeup at 76mph. Tauro has arm side run on his fastball and showed a good feel for his changeup.
Alex Hodges (2017 1B, Bethlehem, GA) had a couple of singles this morning. Hodges has a good swing with bat speed and makes hard contact.
Sterling Turmon (2016 OF, Greenville, SC) had a couple of hits today as well. Turmon displays bat speed and is a gap to gap hitter.
