Caleb Bolden (2017 RHP, Texarkana, TX) put together a nice performance on the mound, showing a full three pitch mix while filling up the strike zone. With a projectable and long frame Bolden ran his fastball up to 84 mph while sitting in the low-80s. The curveball showed depth at 73 mph and his changeup may end up becoming his out pitch as it showed nice fade with some dive at 71 mph from the same arm slot.

With a strong 6-foot, 175-pound frame Jared Free (2017 OF, Frisco, TX) connected for one of the harder hit balls that ended up falling deep in centerfield for a three base hit. Beginning his swing with a leg kick trigger, Free did a nice job of staying short to the ball with nice bat speed and showed nice speed running from first to third.

Barrone Porter (2017 SS, Collierville, TN) connected for solid contact as well, coming off the barrel nicely which resulted in a double and showed nice speed on the bases.

Joseph Akers (2017 RHP, Holly Lake Ranch, TX)  worked in the 78-80 mph range, topping at 81 from a short and compact arm action. He showed both a curveball and slider for strikes as he struck out three during his three inning stint on the mound.

Tommy Blitchok (2018 C, Grandville, MI) is a strong and well put together 6-foot-1, 190-pound catcher and he showed his strength in his righthanded swing. Staying short to the ball with nice bat speed through the zone Blitchok showed a feel for the barrel and picked up a base hit to his pull side.  He also showed nice arm strength from behind the dish.

Nathan Letien (2017 OF, Conroe, TX) showed nice athleticism and some twitch to his swing as he connected for a double to his pull side that he was able to elevate while staying rather short to the ball. He moves well around the bases and projects nicely moving forward.

Caston Peter (2018 C, Houston, TX) had a nice two games with the bat as he doubled in each of his team's two games. In the first game he was able to double to deep centerfield and went that way again in his second trip to the plate, putting a nice swing on a fastball creating line drive contact.

Listed as a primary catcher, Erik Coomer (2018 C, Spring, TX) made one of the better defensive plays of the day as he broke in on a sinking line drive and made a diving play in the right-centerfield gap. He also picked up a single in the game.

A good athlete, Marcelo Perez (2018 OF, Laredo, TX) connected for one of the harder and louder hit balls as he lined a ball into left field for a hard line drive single. He also threw 85 mph from the outfield early in the day.
