Mateo Martinez (2019 C, Wichita, KS) has good strength and athleticism in his 6-foot-1, 175 pound frame. Martinez was 1-for-2, with a single to left field and a hard-hit deep fly ball to left field that was caught, but was very well struck. He also pitched one scoreless inning,
Dawson Shibley (2017 2B, Conroe, TX) was 1-for-3, but like, Martinez one of his outs was a very well hit ball. The lean, athletic infielder has a good approach and uses the entire field, showing particular comfort in working the opposite way, as both his base hit and well-struck line-drive outs were to right field.
Brandon Anderson (2017 RHP, Omaha, NE) is a primary pitcher, but he showed good strength, bat speed, and an aggressive approach at the plate, jumping on a first-pitch fastball and driving it into the left center field gap for a double.
Justin Elizondo (2017 3B, Austin, TX) struck out four batters in two innings of relief work. The leanly-built, athletic righty has a 76-80 mph fastball with good armside run and sinking life and he flashed a quality 68-72 mph breaking ball.
