2024 Midwest Indoor Showcase (02/25/2024 - 02/25/2024)

3-Maroon vs. 4-Navy Game Highlights
2/26/2024 12:12:49 AM

Seth Myers (2025 1B, Verona, WI) was on at the plate today, showing good patience and barrel control.  His work at the plate was rewarded with a loud drive to center field that would have landed over the center fielder's head.

Brady Patten (2025 RHP, Verona, WI) showed off talent on the mound and at the plate today.  On the mound, he features a loose shoulder and a whippy arm that allowed him to sit in the low 80's with his fastball.  He used a slider as his primary off-speed pitch and was able to generate weak contact throughout his outing.  At the plate he stays connected and extends through the baseball well.  This showed in game when he drove a ball deep to right field.

Dylan Schreiber (2027 RHP, Waukesha, WI) stood out as one of the most projectable athletes at the event, standing 6' 5" and being in complete control on the mound.  He has an easy delivery and his fastball topped out at 86 mph with tons of life through the zone.  His low arm slot makes it tough to hit against.  He also swung the bat well, barreling up balls to the gaps.

Wilson Wemhoff (2025 OF, Pingree Grove, IL) is a physical presence on the mound and has a big arm to go with it.  He has an easy delivery with explosiveness at release that allowed him to touch 89 mph on several occasions.  He showed a nice 11-5 curveball to pair with the fastball that has sharp bite and late break.  He has all of the makings to continue to dominate on the mound.

Isaac Poehlman (2025 1B, Green Bay, WI) is an athletic player with tons of talent both on the mound and at the plate.  Offensively, he stays balanced from the left side of the plate and hits the ball hard where it is pitched.  On the mound, he does a nice job of driving down the mound and utilizing his strong frame.  He has a quick arm and is able to run the fastball up to 85 mph.
