4/21/2024 8:25:36 PM

Jackson Evans (2028, Boynton Beach, FL) led off the game by piecing up a barrel to the opposite field for a single. He used quick hands and fast bat speed to produce loud contact. He picked up a second single later in the game on a line-drive to centerfield.

Barrett Stencel (2028, Thomasville, GA) unloaded on a two-strike pitch and crushed it deep to the pull side. He displayed impressive bat speed and quick hands as his hit went off the outfield wall and was a stand-up, RBI Triple.

Jayden Caraballo (2028, Lehigh Acres, FL) showed a fastball-heavy attack, topping out at 75 mph. The projectable righty fires from a ¾ arm slot, strides well towards the plate, and struck out 6 batters in his first 2 innings pitched. At the plate, he added a line-drive single up the middle.

Johnny Peralta (2029, Miramar, FL) flashed the leather at shortstop today. He backhanded a hard-hit liner, quickly transferred, and fired a dime to first to beat the runner.

Caden Hylemon (2028, Naples, FL) is a switch-hitter who notched a hard-hit single from the left side in his first at bat. He showed good bat speed and ripped it to the pull side. He also added a single from the right side.

Julian Connell (2028, Pembroke Pines, FL) showed consistent contact as he hit two firm singles through the hole. He later showed off his range in centerfield as he tracked down a blooper.

J. Cullen Tesa (2029, Portsmouth, RI) launched a leadoff double to the pull side. He did a nice job of finding the open field as he kept it inside the foul line.

Alex Paulk (2028, Yulee, FL) pulled a single through the left side in his first at bat. He then took to the mound and threw well. He topped out at 78 mph, flashed a nice slider, and struck out 3 batters in 1.1 innings pitched. He has a projectable frame with great arm speed.

Owen Hewitt (2028, Jupiter, FL) used quick hands to turn on a two-strike pitch and rip it back up the middle. It was a hard-hit barrel for a single.

Carter Cannestra (2029, Cape Coral, FL) notched 2 hits on the day. He has a physical frame and sprayed the ball to all fields.
