In a makeup of a game that was rained out on Saturday, Harvard Westlake will travel to Valencia (ranked 41st in the nation) this afternoon. 2012 RHP
Lucas Giolito will get the start for Harvard Westlake, though he will be limited to just one inning in his first outting of the season.
Giolito, a 6' 6" 220 pound righty is the 5th ranked player in the class of 2012 nationally. Armed with a Fastball that has been clocked at 96 MPH at the 2010 Area Code Games, Giolito is the 2nd ranked pitcher in his class and 2nd ranked player in California.
