Chase DeJong will provide a tough early season test for the 5th ranked team in the nation, Edison (Huntington Beach) in the semi-finals of the Loara Tournament tonight. DeJong will make his second start of the season for the Bruins, throwing a complete game 2-hit shutout against Marina in the tournament opener. Edison will not counter with their ace,
Henry Owens, who pitched in relief on Tuesday.
Jonathan Torres will start for Edison tonight.
The other semi-final matchup will feature Vista Murrieta and Lakewood in the early game (3:00) at Glover Stadium in Anaheim. The winners of the two games will face one another in the championship game on Saturday.
