The championship games are set for the two brackets of the Sarasota Baseball Classic.
Premier Bracket Championship
Miami Sunset vs. Royal Palm Beach 5:00 pm @ Riverview
Sunset moved to the title game with victories over North Port (9-2), Cardinal Mooney (6-3) and Manatee (6-5)
Royal Palm Beach has wins over Braden River (10-6), Kings Academy (8-3) and Palmetto (18-2)
Bishop Verot, one of the pre-tourney favorites dropped an 11-1 game to Lakewood Ranch, who also knocked off highly touted West Boca 3-2.
Verot has won its two other games and faces Pendelton today at 5:15.
West Boca beat Dunnellon 12-1 but lost 1-0 to Riverview Wednesday, they face Palmetto at 2:00 pm today.
Elite Bracket Championship
Venice vs. Barron Collier 8:00 pm @ Venice
Venice picked up a big 8-3 win over Palm Beach Central to open the tourney, also beating Pendelton 13-7 and Sarasota 14-4.
Barron Collier has wins over Killian (3-0), Wellington (5-2), and Lakewood Ranch 15-10.
Sarasota beat Palmetto 6-5, and Coral Springs 5-4 before dropping the game to Venice. They face Lakewood Ranch at 5 pm.
Palm Beach Central won its other two games beating Coral Glades 6-3 and Palmetto 2-0. Riverview is their opponent today.
