Mitchell Rathbun (2016 2B, Las Vegas, NV) is a switch-who was especially good from the left side. He has a short line drive approach from both sides but his left handed swing was strong with very good bat speed.
Ruben Mercado (2016 SS, Pleasanton, CA) has a slender middle infielder's build and a low effort swing but the ball really carried well off the barrel with lots of back spin.
Tom Tabak (2016 OF, Calabasas, CA) has a very projectable 6-2/185 build and plenty of present strength to drive a short and crisp left handed swing.
Jake Baer (2016 3B, West Hills, CA) is one of the stronger players at the event and has an aggressive right handed swing. He pulled hard line drives throughout his round that really jumped off the barrel.
Bradlee Beesley (2016 SS, San Leandro, CA) is a quick twitch athlete in all areas, including at the plate. He generates far more bat speed and power than you'd think a 165 pound middle infielder could.
Matt McGrady (2017 2B, Clovis, CA) is young but has a sound fundamental swing that he repeats well to hit consistent hard line drives, even showing some ability to pull and lift the ball.
Kelsey McNanie (2017 SS, Chico, CA) is another young middle infielder with a good swing, with the added benefit of being 6-1/178 and taking an aggressive cut at the ball that uses his strength well.
Montel Jones (2016 OF, Van Nuys, CA) has some mechanical adjustments to make, most notably getting some shift into contact, but he is strong and quick twitch and drove the ball very hard.
Saul Martinez (2016 3B, Inglewood, CA) had the best BP of the day, using his 6-0/200 strength to drive the ball hard to the pull side, including a couple of long home runs.
Anthony Gaskins (2017 OF, Berkeley, CA) has a very projectable 6-2/185 build and plenty of strength and bat speed. Like Jones, he's going to keep improving with some mechanical adjustments that use his lower half better.
Dalton Seymour (2016 C, Livermore, CA) had one of the simplest and sound set of swing mechanics we saw, with a short and very direct path to the ball.
