Grant Judkins (2016 3B, Pella, IA) pitched one scoreless inning striking out two batters. He showed a good fastball at 87-89 mph with a good 11-5 breaking curveball at 70 mph. He also had a homerun in the game to RF.

Nick Hagen (2017 C, West Burlington, IA) had a double in the game for the Red team. He showed lift in his swing with good plate coverage.

Austin Miller (2016 RHP, North Liberty, IA) pitched two innings striking out four batters. His fastball sat 80-83 mph with a curveball at 71 mph.

Cole Baker (2015 RHP, Grimes, IA) was dominant today tossing 3 perfect innings striking out 5 batters. Fastball was 88-91 mph today and showed good off-speed offerings to go with it. Iowa commit

Christopher Comito Jr (2015 RHP, Norwalk, IA) also an Iowa commit was equally impressive as he went three innings allowing only 1 hit and struck out 7 batters. His fastball was 86-90 mph today. 

Chase Hager (2015 OF, Davenport, IA) ran a 6.67 yesterday and had two hits today for the Gold team and .Robert Magnus (2017 OF, Davenport, IA) tripled for the Gold team

Brady Corson (2015 LHP, Cedar Falls, IA) tossed 3 shutout innings for the Navy team and puched out 6 hitters. Fastball was up to 81 mph today. 

Matt Sartwell (2016 RHP, Grimes, IA) struck out 3 in 2 innings today and his fastball topped out at 87 mph. 

Cal Stalzer (2016 SS, West Des Moines, IA) continued to hit very well in game action with a double today after going 3-3 yesterday.

Bryant Jordan (2015 RHP, Hubertus, WI) got the start for the Green team today and tossed 2 perfect innings with 3 strikeouts. The Missouri commit was 87-89 mph today. 

Creighton commit Ty Ramirez (2015 RHP, Greendale, WI) was next for the Green team and also tossed two scoreless with 4 K's. He was 84-86 mph today. He also tripled in the game. 

Austin Mihlbauer (2017 LHP, Mukwonago, WI) was the 3rd pitcher and was lights out. His arm really worked well from a low slot and pitched 87-88 mph early on with lots of life. Showed good potential with his change up in warmups. He struck out 4 in 2 innings. 

Drew Denkinger (2015 RHP, Johnston, IA) was 84-86 mph after throwing 94 mph from the outfield yesterday.

Jack Rasmussen (2015 RHP, Ankeny, IA) was also 84-86 mph today for the Maroon team. He is headed to Minnesota State next year. 

Tyler Roeder (2016 SS, Cedar Rapids, IA) closed out the game and ran his fastball up to 84 mph stiking out 2 in 1 inning. He also made a nice play at SS as well.

Spencer Van Scoyoc (2016 LHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) was 3 or 3 in the game with a single, double, triple and two runs scored. He showed good bat speed at the plate with a line drive approach at the plate.

Connor Lindaman (2016 1B, Davenport, IA) had 3 K's in two innings of work. He showed a good fastball at 82-86 mph with his curveball at 69 mph.

Spencer Wiskus (2016 C, Coralville, IA) was 3 for 3 in the game with a pair of singles and a double. He squared the ball up consistently with good bat speed at the plate.

Sage Sutter (2016 C, Manchester, IA) had a double in the game with a run scored for the White team.

William Rodruck (2017 RHP, West Des Moines, IA) had 3 K's in his two innings pitched. He showed a good fastball at 79-82 mph with a curveball at 74 mph.

Matt Flummerfelt (2015 SS, Ames, IA) pitched a scoreless inning for the Orange team. He showed a good fastball at 82-85 mph.

Brady Stover (2016 LHP, Huxley, IA) got the start for the Teal team and tossed three scoreless innings and with 6 punchouts. His fastball was 82-86 mph and he showed a clean arm action and pounded the strike zone. Tight break on his breaking ball this outing as well. 

Brody Gugat (2016 RHP, Sioux City, IA) started for the White team and also had an impressive outing striking out 7 batters in 3 scoreless innings. His fastball was 83-86 mph and showed simple low effort delivery and also showed good spin on his breaking ball. 

Cam Baumann (2017 LHP, Fairfield, IA) showed a fast loose arm and his fastball was up to 83 mph today with hard running action, He showed a very nice change and tight curveball spin as well. 

Brayden Frazier (2018 SS, Cedar Rapids, IA) had a great game at the plate for the white team going 2-2 with a triple.

Marcus Christy (2017 RHP, Mesa, AZ) struck out 4 in 2 inning today while Luke Farley (2015 OF, Denver, IA) struck out three and both were up to 84 mph. 

Keegan Warner (2016 SS, Ottawa, ON) had a great game for the Maroon team going 3-3 and also impressed in the field making all the plays. 

Kane Fairman (2017 C, Cedar Falls, IA), Kane Fairman (2017 C, Cedar Falls, IA), and Jack Rasmussen (2015 RHP, Ankeny, IA) all doubled for the Maroon team.

Drew Denkinger (2015 RHP, Johnston, IA) knocked out 2 hits for the Maroon team after throwing the top outfield velocity earlier in the showcase throwing 94 mph. 

Paul Rupnik (2015 OF, Newmarket, ON) showed good bat speed today and drilled a HR for the Navy team.

Cal Stalzer (2016 SS, West Des Moines, IA) was outstanding at the plate today going 3-3 making hard contact to all fields. Ball jumps off his bat. Was also up to 82 mph on the mound.

Keaton Winn (2016 RHP, Ollie, IA) was very impressive today running his fastball up to 90 mph with good downhill plane and life. Showed a nice breaking ball as well and projects for more.

Andrew Wilkinson (2016 RHP, Delray Beach, FL) tossed three scoreless innings for the Gold team with his fastball topping out at 86 mph 

Riley Braughton (2015 MIF, Stanwood, IA) showed well today with two hits. He is committed to Upper Iowa. 

Kevin DeLaney (2015 OF, Coralville, IA) and Robert Magnus (2017 OF, Davenport, IA) both had two hits for the Gold team as well

Max McCay (2016 C, Carlisle, IA) really stood out for the Gold team showing he has juice in his bat going 3-4 with a triple. 

Zeb Adreon (2016 1B, Pleasantville, IA) showed well with the bat with a single and a triple in the game and also was up to 83 mph on the mound.

Connor Kimple (2016 OF, Whitefish Bay, WI) and Patrick Sisk (2017 3B, Fox Point, WI) both really impressed in BP today and in the games with the bat as Kimple smoked a double and Sisk was 2-3 with a double. 

Gregory Bennett (2017 SS, Peosta, IA) aslo had two hits for the Green team.

Eric Senior (2015 OF, Toronto, ON) showed a nice swing with good bat speed and the ball jumped off his barrel

The following players stood out during their Batting Practice at Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

Bryce Ball (2016 1B, Mason City, IA) showed good power potential with a good lift approach.  Has strength in his swing and drove one out of the park.

Eric Senior (2015 OF, Toronto, ON) has quick hands using an aggressive approach and bat speed.  Shows good power potential driving the ball out of the park in left.

Connor Kimple (2016 OF, Whitefish Bay, WI) showed the best consistent power during batting practice driving three balls out of the park and another off the top of the wall.  He does a good job of loading on the backside.

Patrick Sisk (2017 3B, Fox Point, WI) has quick hands and shows good power with a home run.  When he is on time the ball really jumps off barrel.

Luke Farley (2015 OF, Denver, IA) has a line drive swing plane with lift.  Has solid mid field approach and has pull power and showed it off with a massive home run to left field.

Tyler Roeder (2016 SS, Cedar Rapids, IA) showed a simple line drive swing plane with a mid field approach.

Paul Rupnik (2015 OF, Newmarket, ON) has a nice line drive pull approach and the ball jumped off when centered.

Cal Stalzer (2016 SS, West Des Moines, IA) has good barrel control with a nice line drive swing plane.  
Heliot Ramos (2017 OF, Maunabo, PR) showed a simple loose swing to all fields with good projection at the plate.

Spencer Van Scoyoc (2016 LHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) has quick hands with an easy swing with solid contact.  Has quick hands and really projects at plate.

Kyle Crowl (2016 3B, Council Bluffs, IA) has a good projectable build with good hands and bat speed.  Bat projects at plate.

Ethan Hayes (2017 OF, Cedar Falls, IA) has a strong projectable build and shows good bat speed with a line drive plane.

Grant Judkins (2016 3B, Pella, IA) has easy consistent swing with good bat speed, makes solid contact and ball jumps.

Izaya Ono-Fullard (2017 3B, North Liberty, IA)  has an aggressive approach with good bat speed, has line drive swing plane with good power.

Jon Rozeboom (2016 1B, Waukee, IA) showed good power potential with a home run to left field.  Has tools to develop.

Brayden Frazier (2018 SS, Cedar Rapids, IA) has good potential at plate with a line drive swing plane and bat speed.  Ball jumps when centered.

Tyler Hillman (2017 SS, Pella, IA) has a loose aggressive swing with good extension through the ball, has good projection at the plate.

Spencer Van Scoyoc (2016 LHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) got the start and was dominant today for the Orange team striking out 7 in 3 innings allowing only 1 hit. His fastball was 82-86 mph today and showed a very tight curveball today. The Arizona State commit showed his two way talent as well today going 2-3 with a double. 

Connor Van Scoyoc (2018 RHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) was the second pitcher for the Orange team and is a very interesting young arm. He can already run his fastball up to 84 mph and showed a smooth, quick arm with much more velo to come. 

Heliot Ramos (2017 OF, Maunabo, PR) has an athletic build and showed batspeed and also good arm strength throwing our a runner at the plate. 

Kidany Salva (2016 C, Vega Alta, PR) showed a nice easy swing going 2-3 in game 1

Zachary Daniels (2015 RHP, Robins, IA) worked three very quick innings allowing only 1 hit. His fastball was 86-88 mph today and showed a nice changeup with good sink, Threw to his spots well with deception

Porter Hummel (2016 LHP, Hawarden, IA) struck out 5 in 3 IP today and was up to 82 mph with life.

Jarred Wood (2017 RHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) struck out 7 in 3 IP today. FB was 82-85 mph

Kyle Crowl (2016 3B, Council Bluffs, IA) was no surprise to see him hit like he always does going 3-3 in the game today with a double. Also had top IF velo throwing 89 mph.
