The following players stood out during the Cardinal and Royal Game at the Northwest Showcase.

Gavin Gorrell (2017 LHP, North Bend, WA) has an athletic build and body projects well.  Was up to 79 with fastball with solid command.  Showed potential with 1/7 curveball.  Threw a perfect 3 innings.

Connor Johnson (2016 RHP, Kirkland, WA) was up to 82 with his fastball with a quick arm.  Attacked with fastball and worked downhill with it. He also made hard contact at plate with a double.

Carter Young (2019 SS, Selah, WA) has good upside on mound with a quick arm and fastball at 79 and showed feel for a sharp downer slider.

Jayson Schroeder (2018 RHP, Kirkland, WA) shows ability to get to the inside pitch with the barrel on his double down the line.

The following players stood out for the Columbia Blue Team in their two 5 inning games.

Trent Sellers (2018 RHP, Kennewick, WA) has a long loose arm action with good extension out front, showed a power curveball with good depth. He topped at 81 with his fastball.  He also showed a line drive swing plane and collected two hits.

Nick Horn (2017 RHP, Seattle, WA) has good arm speed, pitches downhill and flashed curveball potential.  Fastball was up to 82.

Riley Wright (2017 SS, Yelm, WA) was two for three with a pull approach.

John Arndorfer (2017 OF, Lake Oswego, OR) also had two hits showing a good balance approached.

Charles Bucolo (2016 SS, Eagle River, AK) shows bat speed at plate, he had a double in his final at bat.

The following players stood during the Gold Teams two 5 inning games.

Jack Dellinger (2016 RHP, Bellevue, WA) has a simple athletic delivery that he repeats well.  Fastball was up to 85 and heavy to go with a hard biting curveball.

Ole Arntson (2017 1B, Gresham, OR) has a long loose quick arm action, velo projects if he stays a bit taller on backside, fastball was up to 82 with present mechanics with good run and sink.

James Geiger (2016 LHP, Redmond, WA) works downhill with his fastball to both sides of plate that topped at 84.  Flashed hard 12/6 downer curveball.

Jack Vonderhaar (2017 1B, Woodinville, WA) has solid barrel control and makes good contact, he was 3 for 4 with a triple.

Colby Scott (2016 RHP, Bend, OR) has good pull approach and flashed ability to go to all fields, he had a double.

Riley Lublin (2018 RHP, Yakima, WA) was 2 for 3, has good feel for barrel and stays inside well.

Michael Fernandez (2018 C, Bellevue, WA) had a perfect day at the plate going 3 for 3 with hard pull contact.

Aaron Brann (2017 3B, Twin Falls, ID) showed bat speed and ability to create leverage in his swing, he had a double.

Aaron Beaulaurier (2016 OF, Spokane, WA) has present strength in swing with bat speed and pop.

The following players stood out during the Kelly Green's two 5 inning games.

Taylor Johnson (2019 RHP, Richland, WA) has good pull approach and had a double in the game.

Kyle Banister (2016 2B, SeaTac, WA) stays inside the ball well and had two hits on the day along with an RBI.

James Bradwell (2016 RHP, Roberts Creek, BC) has a very fast arm, fastball was up to 86 with good sink and had advanced feel for change up.  Body projects and expect more velocity in future.

Alex McBee (2017 LHP, Auburn, WA) has good life on fastball that was up to 82 along with a plus curveball at 67.

Austin Frank (2016 SS, Paul, ID) went two for two with a run scored showing ability to get barrel to inside part of the plate.

Ryan Funk (2017 C, Sisters, OR)  squared up ball well in all three AB's going 3 for 3 with a double.

Sam Matterazzo (2018 RHP, Portland, OR) has a side arm delivery with a heavy fastball that topped at 82.

Trevor Wilson (2017 RHP, Redmond, OR) stays inside baseball with hands well, he had two hits on the day.

The following players stood out during the TX Orange vs Navy Game at the Northwest Showcase.

Rhyse Frey (2016 LHP, Seattle, WA) has big life on his fastball that was up to 82 and a sharp slider.

Kyle Knell (2017 SS, Tigard, OR) went two for two showing good barrel control.

Will Smith (2017 RHP, Shoreline, WA) has good upside and very projectable build, he was up to 80 with his fastball.  Arm works well.

Matt Boissoneault (2018 C, Mercer Island, WA) has an advanced feel for his change up ot go with his 80 MPH fastball.  He also had  a double.

Jonathan Magruder (2017 OF, Federal Way, WA) was 2 for 4 with a triple, he showed good bat speed and barrel control.

Ben McKay (2017 SS, Wenatchee, WA) showed good bat speed and makes hard contact, he had a double.

The following players stood out during the Orange vs White game at the Northwest showcase.

Logan Gerling (2017 RHP, Gig Harbor, WA) was up to 84 with his fastball and pounded the strike zone with it.  Fastball showed good two seam sink on it.

Peter Dudunakis (2017 2B, Bellevue, WA) has good rhythm in his swing with a line drive path with lift.  He had a double and scored a run.

Zane Zurbrugg (2016 2B, Bremerton, WA) has an advanced approach with Gap to Gap approach. Shows good bat speed and power potential.  Was 2 for 3 with a triple.

Tellier Lundquist (2018 OF, Medina, WA) showed good barrel control and skills with bat, he had a double.

Ryan Long (2017 RHP, Woodinville, WA) has a lean projectable build, was up to 82 with his fastball with nice downhill plane.

Tyler Landwehr (2016 C, Encinitas, CA) has very nice feel for his secondary pitches, he showed a power slider and power split with a fastball that was up to 81.

Gabriel Skoro (2017 OF, Portland, OR) was 2 for 3 using a solid pull approach.

Jacob Terao (2017 C, Seattle, WA) has good pull side power and makes hard contact.  He had a double.

Garrett Goodall (2016 RHP, Nanaimo, BC) showed bat speed and pull side pop, he also had a double.

Ethan McGregor (2016 SS, Langley, BC) had a double and showed pull side power potential.

Austin Price (2016 RHP, Vancouver, WA) showed good barrel control on his double.

Aaron Brann (2017 3B, Twin Falls, ID) was up to 81 with his fastball with good direction and a repeatable delivery.

Nicholas Orr (2019 C, Federal Way, WA) was 2 for 4 with good hand path and stayed inside ball.

Michael Fernandez (2018 C, Bellevue, WA) has present strength in swing and went 2 for 3 on the day.

Aaron Beaulaurier (2016 OF, Spokane, WA) has good plate presence, and shows good bat speed, he went 2 for 3 with a double and triple

The following players stood out during the Kelly Green two 5-Inning games today at the Northwest Showcase.

Sam Baker (2016 RHP, Chemainus, BC) was up to 82 with his fastball that shows occasional cutting action down in zone, arm worked well.

Nolan Takeya (2016 C, Lynwood, WA) stays on ball well and makes good contact.

Spencer Lindeman (2016 1B, West Vancouver, BC)showed a nice swing plane to the ball.

Taylor Johnson (2019 RHP, Richland, WA) collected a single with a simple approach and swing.

Gabe Orint (2017 3B, Seattle, WA) was up to 80 with his fastball with a low effort online delivery.

Waylon Pettijohn (2016 2B, Selah, WA) showed good barrel control and bat speed, he had a triple and run batted in.

Tallon Yerbury (2017 OF, Puyallup, WA) has a projectable build and does good job staying inside baseball

Jon Fortner (2017 RHP, Portland, OR) has a long lean projectable build, fastball was up to 84 with good arm speed and deception to his delivery.

Ryan Funk (2017 C, Sisters, OR)went three for four showing ability to get the barrel to the inside pitch.

Dmetri Kennedy-Woody (2018 C, Richland, WA) showed good bat control and baseball speed, he had two hits and stole two bases.

Ryan Krout (2017 3B, Washougal, WA) has good mid field approach with a line drive swing plane, he went 2 for 3 with a double.

Nathan Mano (2016 OF, Sammamish, WA) went three for three and stole two bases.

Gavin Gorrell (2017 LHP, North Bend, WA) has quick hands with a clean path to the ball.  Showed Gap to Gap power potential.

Brad Poletski (2017 C, West Richland, WA) quick swing with hard line drives to all fields.

JT (Jeffrey) Files (2017 OF, Bellevue, WA) raw power, shows strength in swing and ball will jump off barrel.

Noah Shaw (2018 C, Bellevue, WA) Good strength in body, hits to all fields, line drive swing plane with a quick bat.

Thomas Rudinsky (2016 C, Portland, OR) very quick and efficient path with hands, showed gap to gap power.

Tellier Lundquist (2018 OF, Medina, WA) Long lean projectable build, showed present power with more to come.

Peter Dudunakis (2017 2B, Bellevue, WA) gets barrel out front consistently with a smooth swing.  With strength power will come.

Carter Wallace (2017 3B, Puyallup, WA) shows good bat speed, line drive swing plane with lift and has gap to gap approach.

Alex Lambeau (2017 SS, Bellevue, WA) makes hard contact with barrel control.  Showed good bat speed and strength in swing.

Daniel Qin (2018 3B, Issaquah, WA)  showed good bat speed and a consistent swing.

Nick Hull (2017 RHP, Woodway, WA) makes hard mid field contact with good weight transfer through contact.

Kyle Knell (2017 SS, Tigard, OR) has quick hands with good balance and extension.

Nicholas Nishi (2016 C, Seattle, WA) line drive swing plane with good leverage in swing.

Tanner Van Lith (2017 3B, Wenatchee, WA) line drive swing with good bat speed with good balance.

The following players stood out during their batting practice for the Col. Blue and Gold Teams.

Anthony Amicangelo (2016 SS, Bremerton, WA) followed up an impressive work out with a quality round of batting practice, showing a quick bat and strength in swing.

Charles Bucolo (2016 MIF, Eagle River, AK) has a clean swing with very good carry of barrel.  Has some lift in swing.

Trevor Wilson (2017 RHP, Redmond, OR) has good strength in swing and flashed carry off barrel.

Brendan Gerbert (2016 1B, Surrey, BC) good line drive swing plane with lift, squared up ball consistently.

Alex Bailey (2017 OF, Bend, OR) flashed good power potential with a pull approach.

Mitchell Rennie (2017 1B, West Kelowna, BC) has some strength in swing and creates good leverage and flashed power potential.

Drew Vannaman (2018 OF, West Linn, OR) has good weight transfer.through contact with lift.

Jayson Schroeder (2018 RHP, Kirkland, WA) has good carry off barrel with line drive swing plane and lift.

Riley Parker (2018 SS, Snohomish, WA) has quick hands with a line drive plane and line drive results.

Christopher "CJ" Friedman (2016, 2B, Forest Grove, OR) has an aggressive swing, shows quick bat with good extension through ball.

Connor Johnson (2016 RHP, Kirkland, WA) lower 1/2 works well and gets through ball well with lift and showed good bat speed.

The following players stood out during their game at the Northwest Showcase.

Jayson Schroeder (2018 RHP, Kirkland, WA) was up to 88 with his fastball that had natural cutting action, he sat 86-88 all three innings pounding the zone with his fastball that showed good life. Arm really worked well.  He also showed good bat speed at plate and had a triple.

Drew Vannaman (2018 OF, West Linn, OR) has an athletic build and actions, he was 2 for 3 on the day.

Riley Parker (2018 SS, Snohomish, WA) does a good job keeping hands inside baseball on his triple.

Christopher "CJ" Friedman (2016, 2B,Forest Grove, OR) showed good pull approach and flashed bat speed on his triple.

Jack Vonderhaar (2017 1B, Woodinville, WA) showed nice swing on triple with good bat speed.

Bennett Sacker (2018 SS, Portland, OR) was 2 for 3 on the day showing a nice aggressive approach.

Navy Highlights

Nick Hull (2017 RHP, Woodway, WA): Hull threw 3 innings on the mound, striking out 3 and allowing no runs while scattering 3 hits. His fastball worked 80-84 and he mixed in a sharp slider at 72 as well as a fading changeup at 76. 

Kai Osaka (2019 C, Seattle, WA): Osaka was impressive on the mound, throwing strikes consistently and mixing his pitches well to keep hitters off balance, especially his sharp-breaking curveball. He also contributed a solid base hit offensively. 

Edgar Beltran (2016 C, Puyallup, WA): Beltran was very good behind the plate defensively, and also showed his advanced strength offensively, putting the ball in play hard twice including a line drive single. 

Max Samson (2019 OF, Seattle, WA): Samson, one of the younger participants in this event, showed well against older players on Saturday. He handled the bat well and notched a base hit in the later innings. 

Orange Highlights

Garrett Goodall (2016 RHP, Nanaimo, BC): Goodall started for the Orange team, and was effective over 3 shutout innings. He struck out 4 and ran his heavy, running fastball up to 83 MPH. He also showed a slider and changeup. 

Skyler Loverink (2019 LHP, Lake Oswego, OR): Loverink is a long, loose, and highly projectable left-hander whose ceiling is very high on the mound. Throwing 3 perfect innings, he showed glimpses of significantly high upside. He also contributed offensively with a double in his only at bat. 

Ethan McGregor (2016 SS, Langley, BC): MacGregor had some of the best velocity of the day, running his lively fastball up to 86 MPH and complementing it with a very sharp, swing-and-miss slider. 

Brycen Hill (2016 OF, Eugene, OR): Hill was on base a couple times for the orange team, including a hard single, and showed off his speed by stealing a base as well. 

Dominick Monville (2016 1B, Pasco, WA): Monville showed his strength by muscling a double in 4th inning, and also showed good, clean actions at 1st base on defense. 

Alec Hopkins (2018 2B, Canby, OR): Hopkins showed the ability to use the whole field when hitting, making contact to several fields and also hitting a double early in the game.

Mason Hoover (2018 SS, Seattle, WA): Hoover's final at bat was a productive one, singling firmly on a line and then stealing a base.

The following players stood out during the their Game at the Northwest Showcase.

Hunter French (2016 RHP, Richland, WA) was 81-84 topping at 85 with a clean delivery.  Pounded strike zone with fastball and mixed in a slider at 74.

Ben McKay (2017 SS, Wenatchee, WA) showed a nice quiet approach with good barrel control on his double.

Torre Digiovanni (2018 SS, Port Orchard, WA) is an interesting arm to follow, was up to 79 with his fastball and through from different slots to keep hitters off balance.  He also had feel for his off speed offerings.

Tellier Lundquist (2018 OF, Medina, WA) showed good barrel control and contact skills, he was 2 for 3 with a triple and run batted in.

Cade Crist (2020 C, Springfield, OR) shows bat speed and good swing mechanics, he was 2 for 2 at the plate.

Nolan Scelzi (2018 OF, Sammamish, WA) had plus repeatable mechanics, was up to 78 on fastball with more to come as his arm works well.  Good Upside on mound.
