2010 Top Prospects

Brian Sullivan  3B - 2010 - Eastchester, NY
Lafayette

A 2010 grad, Brian's bat really sticks out is his best tool. He shows good bat speed with quick hands and both his hitting ability and power should play well at the next level.


2011 Top Prospects

Kyle Richards  OF - 2011 - Groton, CT
Iowa Western CC

An athletic outfield prospect, Kyle showed the speed (6.89) and arm strength (85) needed to be a top-notch defender. He is an advanced hitter that uses a simple and easy hitting approach to drive the ball hard to all parts of the field.

Sean Murphy  RHP - 2011 - Westbrook, ME
Uncommitted

A projectable right-hander at 6'5”, 200 lbs., Sean touched 86 with his fastball with a good downhill plane. He gets good life on all of his pitches and shows a solid feel for an 11-5 curveball.

Robert Fonseca  1B - 2011 - Madison, NJ
Northeastern

A strong and athletic first baseman, Robert was arguably the top hitting prospect at the event. He has an aggressive hitting approach that produces serious bat speed. Robert's swing showed easy lift and his raw power projects better than any player at the event.

Sal Romano  RHP - 2011 - Southington, CT
Tennessee

Sal looks the part of a top-pitching prospect. He has a long and loose arm action with a smooth delivery touching 86 with his fastball. Sal compliments his fastball with a tight 11-5 curveball and he gets a good downward angle on all of his pitches.

Gus Constantino  1B - 2011 - Oxford, CT
Western Connecticut State University/County College of Morris

A 2011 grad, Gus is an athletic first baseman whose bat projects well down the road. He runs well (7.16) and has good bat speed which consistent hard line-drive contact.

Connor Walsh  RHP - 2011 - Wayne, PA
University of Cincinnati

A talented two-way prospect, Connor has a chance to contribute both at third base or on the mound. He has a solid hitting approach from the left side of the plate, while also showing a strong arm and quick release in the field. On the mound Connor shows a live fastball that touched 86 as well as a hard downer curveball.


2012 Top Prospects

Billy Walker  C - 2012 - Smithfield, RI
Hartford

Billy was the top prospect at the event as he showed top-notch catching tools as well as being one of the best hitters in attendance. He has very quick actions behind the plate with a good transfer and release complimented by a strong arm. With 7.25 sixty speed Billy also runs well for his position. Offensively Billy has very solid hitting fundamentals and has a chance to hit for both power and average down the road.

Ryan Daiss  RHP - 2012 - Seymour, CT
Georgia Southern

A 2012 grad, Ryan is a talented two-way prospect that has a chance to contribute both behind the plate and on the mound. He shows good bat speed and quick hands from the left side of the plate and should become a serious power threat at the plate. Defensively, Ryan has a strong arm behind the plate with quick online actions.

Matt Constance  RHP - 2012 - Canton, MI
Central Michigan

A 2012 grad, Matt showed advanced pitchability and touched 84 with his fastball. His arm action and delivery are both clean and his velocity should project some over the next few years. Both his change-up and slider have the potential to become out-pitches.
