Tournament Format:

16u WWBA(Pools of 8)
July 13-18 –Each team will play 7 pool games in first 6 days. No consolation games. Doubleheader one of first 4 days. Games will begin at 9AM on July 13.
July 18 – Playoffs (Pool winners) will be played later in day after last pool play game.
July 19 – Rounds of 16 and 8 will be played starting at 9AM.
July 20 – Semifinals & Championship games (11:30AM Championships start)
The official schedule will be released approximately 4-5 days prior to the start date.


ATTENTION: We will be switching some Wednesday pool play games that have playoff implications from the 2PM time slot to the 9AM & 11:30AM slots. This will push non-playoff teams to the 2PM and 4:30PM time slots. We will notify team via phone throughout the day on Tuesday. The schedule page will be updated as well. 

There will NOT be water provided in all dugouts. The ONLY coolers allowed in the gate at each field will be team/player coolers that are taken into the dugouts. No spectator coolers will be allowed.

Due to the number of games played on these fields over the 6 straight weeks of tournaments, all players need to be prepared to wear tennis shoes/turfs when warming up for games on field if asked.

Event Information
This is the 9th annual WWBA 16u National Championships, which will take place in northwest Atlanta using the East Cobb Complex and various fields in the area. Past Champions: South Florida Elite Black (11), Canes Baseball (09,10), Richmond Braves (08), Knoxville Yard (07), East Cobb Astros (05,06), Florida Redwings and Upper Deck Cougars (04)

This is a wood bat only tournament. AGE LIMIT: 2014 Grad or born on/after May 1, 1995. Games: 7 guaranteed, weather permitting. All teams will be expected to be able to play first thing on the morning of Friday the 13th. Schedule will be released 4-5 days before the start of the tournament. Friday the 20th will consist of semifinals and championship games. Champions will receive a team trophy as well as individual rings. Runner Up and 3rd place teams will receive a team trophy. MVP and MVPitcher will receive individual award.
