Monte Harrison

Harrison is a nationally recruited football wide receiver but baseball is likely to compete hard for his future services. He’s a top of the scale defensive centerfielder with an elite level arm and shows lots of potential as a right handed hitter.

Missouri
Dabney is a 6-6/190 southpaw who topped out at 89 mph with a 81 mph slider and a 77 mph change up. One PG scout compared him to Matt Purke at the same age, while the White Sox Chris Sale was also mentioned as a comparison.
Matt Myers
RHP - 2014 - San Antonio, TX

Myers pitched steadily in the upper 80’s with lots of sinking action from a low effort delivery and he’s been in the low 90’s in the recent past. That arm strength also translates to the outfield, where he threw 95 mph and behind the plate. He’s a two-way prospect who has lots of right handed bat speed.
Zack Plunkett
C - 2014 - Hurst, TX

The 6-2/205 Plunkett earned an invitation to the National Showcase based on his showcase performance. He was the top defensive catcher during drills, including a 1.86 pop time and 78 mph arm strength and had a quick and compact right handed swing that combined power with ability to hit line drives to all fields.
Kevin (Alex) Shelton
RHP - 2014 - Lakeway, TX
Louisiana-Lafayette
Shelton is a slender and projectable 6-4/185 right hander with a very loose, quick arm. He topped out at 88 mph with a pretty good 78 mph slider.
Grant Schneider
RHP - 2014 - Austin, TX
Arizona State
Schneider and Alex Shelton (above) will give Lake Travis High School a very talented pitching duo for the next two seasons. Schneider, who is already committed to Arizona State, topped out at 89 mph with sharp downhill angle to his pitches to go with both a slider and curveball.
Justin Farrar
LHP - 2014 - Missouri City, TX

Farrar is a very polished lefty with a solid three-pitch mix he used to cut through the showcase hitters with little problem. He topped out at 87 mph to go with a 73 mph curveball and nice 78 mph change up.
Tyler Giovanoni
RHP - 2014 - Schertz, TX
Howard College
Giovanoni looks the part at 6-3/200 and has a nice combination of athletic tools. He ran a 7.10 60, threw 89 mph across the infield and showed very good right handed bat speed.
Francisco DeJesus
1B - 2014 - McKinney, TX
TCU
The 6-1/215 left handed hitter didn’t especially stand out in batting practice or drills but when the games started it was a different matter. He blasted three game home runs and had a line shot up the middle that was 99 mph off the bat. DeJesus looks like a very high level college hitter.
Tyler Culver

Culver is a slender 6-3/165 but has a loose, whippy arm that produced an 85-88 mph fastball with lots of hard late sinking action. His mid-70’s curveball was a very good second pitch that could really develop as he gets stronger.

Erickson is a solid all-around talent with next level tools across the board. He ran the 60 in 6.7, showed very good arm strength both in the infield and outfield and had a short line drive swing with gap power.
Ben Brookover

Brookover is a quality two-way prospect whose best present tool is his right handed power. He also threw 85-87 mph off the mound with an 80 mph slider and change up.
Nico Cuccia
C - 2014 - Slidell, LA
Southeastern Louisiana
Cuccia is a loose and projectable 6-3/180 catcher with good overall athletic ability. He popped 1.88 in drills with 80 mph arm strength and would be interesting to see on the mound as well.
Devon Roedahl

Roedahl was the top prospect of the showcase regardless of class. The 6-1/190 right hander pitched in the 91-93 mph range with a loose, easy arm action and low effort release. His upper 70’s breaking ball was hard and sharp as well.
Braden Comeaux

Comeaux has all the tools to be the next top prospect out of the renowned Barbe program, following in the footsteps of top prospect shortstops Garin and Gavin Cecchini. He ran a 6.62 60, has shortstop arm strength and actions and a quick, loose right handed swing that really projects well.
Dayton Dugas
OF - 2015 - Lake Charles, LA

The 6-3/200 Dugas is raw skilled but has a very high physical ceiling. He ran 4.2 to first and 6.65 in the 60 despite his size and age and has legit over the fence power in his right handed swing. He’ll be a player to follow very closely over the next year.
Ke'Bryan Hayes
3B - 2015 - Tomball, TX

The 6-1/210 Hayes is a mirror image of his father, 15 year Major League third baseman Charlie Hayes, who also coached and threw BP at the showcase. Not surprisingly, Hayes best tool is his bat, but he moves very well at third base defensively despite his size and has a strong arm.
Zachary Shirey
RHP - 2015 - Spring, TX

Shirey has a barrel chested 6-0/210 build but is surprisingly loose and easy in his delivery. He sat at 88-90 mph with his fastball and threw a big sweeping slider for strikes.
Shane Selman

Selman is another Barbe High School product with very nice tools. He ran the fastest 60 at the event at 6.59 and showed big power in batting practice as a rare hits right/throws left player.
Tyler Hockenbury

Hockenbury has a hose behind the plate, throwing 82 mph with a 1.91 pop in drills, outstanding arm strength for a 2015. He showed some strength in his 6-0/170 frame with the bat and squared the ball up consistently at the plate.
Chase Shugart

Shugart is a primary pitcher but should evolve into a very solid two-way college player at worst. He topped out at 87 on the mound with a strong four pitch mix that he knew how to use effectively. He also has surprising power and bat speed in his athletic 5-11/170 build.
Collin Garrett

Garrett is a seriously large and strong young man at 6-4/230 but he’s loose and athletic. He topped out at 90 mph on the mound with heavy tailing action and showed a surprisingly short swing for his size at the plate and big pull power.
Cody Moos
RHP - 2015 - Castroville, TX

The Moos brothers are very different physically, with a 6-1/165 southpaw and a 5-10/170 right hander, but both have very good arms. Cody was up to 85 mph with a very loose and projectable arm, while Kyle topped out at 82 mph with four legitimate pitches right now to continue to develop.
Bailey Mullins

The 6-0/165 Mullins has lots of present tools for a player who just finished his freshman year and is going to be a fun one to watch develop over the next three years. He ran 6.87, threw 86 mph across the infield and showed all the actions and athleticism you’d want to see in a young shortstop.
