2016 Top Prospects

Bailey Ishler  RHP - 2016 - State College, PA
Air Force

A big, physical right-handed pitcher, Ishler was one of the event's true power arms, pitching at 84-87 mph with his fastball with late life. He also showed late biting action on his slider and command down in the zone.

Connor Wilson  OF - 2016 - Wayne, PA
Dayton

A speedy, athletic outfielder, Wilson impressed in his workouts, running a 6.80 60 yard dash and throwing 84 mph from the outfield. But, he really jumped out at the plate, flashing above average bat speed and an ability to use the whole field.

Wyatt Tyson  RHP - 2016 - Red Lion, PA
Campbell

A strong athlete with speed and a power arm, Tyson showed off one of the most impressive fastballs at the showcase, topping out at 87 mph and working consistently at 83-86. He also flashed a sharp 12-6 curveball and ran a 7.01 60 yard dash. His bat speed also stood out.

Kyle Young  LHP - 2016 - Syosset, NY
Hofstra

Young is a towering 6-foot-9 lefty who works at 80-84 mph with his fastball. The sky is the limit on his projection, but most impressive is his feel for his breaking ball and changeup, as well as his ability to repeat his delivery.

Juan Simmons-Ganzaroli  OF - 2016 - East Brunswick, NJ

Displaying above average power that plays in a big way in game action, Simmons-Ganzaroli is a difference maker from the right of the plate and has a big sound off his bat.

Michael Feliz  SS - 2016 - Englewood Cliffs, NJ
Notre Dame

Feliz continues to show his polish at the plate, showing good balance and pull side power. He consistently hits hard line drives to the middle of the field. He also threw 86 mph across the infield.

Kyle Gerace  RHP - 2016 - Linwood, NJ
Rutgers

Gerace is the owner of a lean, projectable frame and he's already displaying a live fastball. He works at 82-86 mph with his fastball and flashes a sharp, above average curveball with depth.

Billy Godrick  OF - 2016 - Millersville, MD
Fordham

A highly athletic outfield with plus speed, Godrick ran a 6.75 60 yard dash time and threw 82 mph from the outfield. He also showed a sound game action approach and superb bat speed.

Christopher Adams  SS - 2016 - Boalsburg, PA
Pennsylvania

A high level athlete who ran a 7.02 60 yard dash and threw 87 mph across the infield, Adams is a standout defensive presence. He also shows a repeatable, line drive stroke and a middle of the field approach.

Dylan Caldwell  RHP - 2016 - Hollywood, MD
Maryville College (Tennessee)

Caldwell is a primary pitcher who topped out at 82 mph with his fastball, but he made his biggest impression with the bat. He shows an ability to drive the ball to the opposite field and has good life off his bat.

Ryan Johnson  RHP - 2016 - Mays Landing, NJ

A primary pitcher who topped at 80 mph with his fastball, Johnson truly stood out from the right side of the plate. He generates good leverage and hits line drives with carry to all fields.

Jason Reynolds  RHP - 2016 - Sicklerville, NJ
Lehigh

Armed with a 79-82 mph fastball and a projectable, lean frame, Reynolds also shows an outstanding feel for his sharp downer breaking ball and his late diving changeup. He consistently misses bats.

Nicholas Seccia  3B - 2016 - Deptford, NJ
Harford CC

A strong, power hitting right-handed hitter with lift, Seccia squares hard line drives consistently and flashes good catch and throw skills from behind the plate.

Sean Vanegas  OF - 2016 - Bronx, NY

One of the event's most athletic players, Vanegas ran a 6.84 60 yard dash time and threw 79 mph from the outfield. He also showed off a compact swing path and squared the ball consistently.

Kevin Welsh  SS - 2016 - Columbus, NJ
Rutgers

A consistent hitter from both sides of the plate, Welsh has a fluid line drive swing path with carry off his bat. After impressing at the plate, he took the mound and worked at 81-84 mph with a sharp curveball.


2017 Top Prospects

Zachary Dreznin  RHP - 2017 - Saddle River, NJ
Notre Dame

Dreznin is a young, lean projectable righty who looks like he's only going to get better. He works at 82-86 mph with his fastball, showing a repeatable delivery in the process. He also shows good depth on his curveball.

Austin Bates  C - 2017 - Ossining, NY
GGC/Chipola College

Bates and his throwing arm are a weapon from behind the plate. He posted the weekend's best pop time at 1.89 and consistently makes on the bag throws. He's not afraid to show his arm in game action, and he also shows good right-handed power in game.

August Samek  SS - 2017 - Teaneck, NJ
Mercer County CC

A live bodied athlete with extra quick hands from the right side of the plate, Samek showed sound actions on the infield and speed that played well in game action. His hit tool also played exceptionally well in games.

Liam Hibbits  1B - 2017 - New York, NY
VCU

A strongly built left-handed hitter, Hibbits not only flashes prolific pull side power potential and good bat speed, but he also showed off a sound game action approach. He also threw 78 mph across the diamond.

David LaManna  C - 2017 - Saddle River, NJ
Notre Dame

A two way talent who also topped at 80 mph on the mound, LaManna posted a 2.01 pop time from behind the dish and showed a solid game action approach at the plate.

Tyler Mandel  3B - 2017 - Scarsdale, NY
Bridgeport

A powerful right-handed batter, Mandel shows a high comfort level in game action. His pull side power already translates well and he handles off speed pitches well.

Peter Theodorellis  OF - 2017 - Commack, NY
Molloy College

Theodorellis is the owner of a smooth, advanced left-handed stroke and he looks like he will continue to improve with maturity. He also threw 85 mph from the outfield and 80 mph from the mound.

Justin Vought  C - 2017 - Wilkes-Barre, PA
Maryland

Vought is a strong armed catcher who posted a 2.01 pop time in the workout portion of the event. He also showed good pop in his bat in game action as well as solid bat speed.


2018 Top Prospects

Brady Devereux  RHP - 2018 - Glen Mills, PA
Pittsburgh

Devereaux has the look of a blossoming two-way talent just scraping his potential. He topped out at 81 mph on the mound, where he also flashed good depth to his breaking ball. He also shows a fluid, line drive stroke at the plate.

Jonjon Conahan  SS - 2018 - Millbrook, NY
Penn State/Florence-Darlington Technical College

Showing off good game action power coupled with above average speed and athleticism, Conahan has a skillset that translates well to the next level. He also showed off a strong arm, throwing 83 mph across the infield.

Andrew Cossetti  C - 2018 - Eagleville, PA
St. Joseph's

An advanced game hitter for his age, Cossetti hits from a wide base and knows how to generate lift in his swing. There is significant potential there for future power from the right side.

Evan Matthews  OF - 2018 - Philadelphia, PA
Bard College

An intriguing two talent, Matthews displayed an advanced feel for pitching and topped out at 75 mph on the mound. But, he was even more impressive at the plate, showing a compact line drive stroke that played well in game action.
