Ezele Wicks  OF - 2017 - Whittier, CA
Uncommitted

Wicks projects well, and excels, in every facet of the game. His physical projection is off the charts, he runs extremely well (6.88 60 yard dash), covers lots of ground in centerfield with impressive routes and speed, and sprays hard line drives to all fields when hitting with easily projectable power.

Alex Andranovich  OF - 2017 - San Diego, CA
Oregon

Andranovich made a case for being the best defensive prospect in the entire event, showing well in drills but more importantly really showing well in game action. He picked everything cleanly at the shortstop position, and made every play, helped by impressive arm strength that registered 90 MPH from the OF and 83 MPH across the IF. He also ran very well, posting a 6.87 60 time.

Zach Patterson  1B - 2017 - Livermore, CA
Ohlone College

Patterson's 6'3" 195 pound frame is loaded with strength throughout his body, and still projects for more. He takes that strength/athleticism combination behind the plate, where he moves well to both sides and blocks cleanly. He also popped an impressive 1.87 seconds, and his arm strength also plays from the OF, where he threw 85 MPH and could easily handle a corner.

Kohl Titzler  OF - 2017 - Hermosa Beach, CA
Uncommitted

A highly projectable outfielder and pitcher, Titzler showed impressive feel for both positions to go along with good hitting tools. He threw 88 MPH from the OF with solid overall actions; then moved to the mound and got up to 82 with excellent feel for his curveball. He showed good balance and quick hands when hitting, generating excellent bat speed with a whole-field approach.

Grant Askins  1B - 2017 - Anaheim Hills, CA
Loyola Marymount

Askins combines excellent size with great athleticism for the 1st base position, with clean footwork and the ability to pivot and make plays with ease. He also consistently hit the ball very hard throughout the weekend, using all fields and showing off present extra base power, with more coming.

Brendan Cindric  LHP - 2017 - Danville, CA
Pepperdine

At 6'4" 175, Cindric is highly projectable throughout his body, and the primary left-handed pitcher figures to easily add velocity to his already impressive pitching repertoire. He presently gets into the low 80's with his fastball, and does a good job working to both sides with it. He'll mix in a 12/6 curveball and a sharp, tilting slider as well, to round out his arsenal.

Andrew Crane  OF - 2017 - San Marcos, CA
Cal State Monterey Bay

Crane showed off impressive arm strength across three positions: Infield, outfield, and on the mound when pitching. He topped at 87 from the outfield, 84 from the infield, and got up to 81 on the mound with a clean delivery and arm action along with a solid curveball. Also showed projectable hitting tools with a whole-field approach.

Chris Demgen  OF - 2017 - Carlsbad, CA

Alexander Devine  OF - 2017 - Fairfield, CA
Uncommitted

Devine first showed off impressive wheels, turning in a 6.76 seconds 60 yard dash time, and then translating that speed to excellent defense in the outfield, where he can run down anything and shows clean hands at the ball. He threw 82 MPH from the outfield, as well. His handsy, inside-out swing at the plate is very good for contact to all fields, which he does well.

Clayton Ellis  3B - 2017 - San Jacinto, CA
Orange Coast College

Ellis showed smooth athleticism in every facet of the game, playing both the infield and the outfield, as well as showing some jump in the box. He uses all fields when hitting and the stroke is very smooth, projecting for both average and power. His strong arm plays all over the diamond, registering at 84 MPH from the outfield and 83 MPH across the infield.

Dante Faicchio  3B - 2017 - Laguna Beach, CA
Pepperdine

Faicchio has an impressive combination of size, strength, and speed; as the 6'2" 185 pound prospect ran a 6.93 60 yard dash and showed good strength off the barrel to all fields when hitting. He also showed the ability to play multiple positions, profiling well in an outfield corner or at 3rd base in addition to showing quality skills behind the plate.

Joseph Fortin  3B - 2017 - Los Angeles, CA
Rhode Island

Fortin consistently hit the baseball very hard when he swung the bat, showing a pull-field approach with very fast hands and lots of strength off the barrel, lofting the ball deep into right field with overall big projection for power. His 3rd base profile defensively is solid, where his hands work and his arm is strong, registering up to 82 MPH.

Jordan Greenway  OF - 2017 - Palos Verdes Estates, CA
Uncommitted

Greenway turned in one of the quicker 60 times of the event, clocking a 6.75 seconds time. He showed good ability to drive the baseball into air deep to all fields, and more over-the-fence power will certainly come in the future. He threw 83 MPH from the outfield and showed quick, clean actions out there as well.

Jaxon Hammond  SS - 2017 - Las Vegas, NV
Azusa Pacific

Hammond showed impressive speed, clocking a 6.83 seconds 60 time, and that speed translated well to his defensive game, where he covered a lot of ground with excellent range both in the infield and the outfield. He also showed off very good arm strength, with his IF velocity up to 83 MPH and his OF velocity up to 81 MPH.

Russell Hicks  LHP - 2017 - Reno, NV
College of Southern Nevada

Hicks is a long, lean left-hander who projects well physically, and shows the feel for pitching we like to see in an underclassman prospect. He has smoothness in his delivery and arm action, with a fastball working in the high 70's/low 80's and lots of room to add velocity. He also has feel for both a curveball and a changeup, giving him a full arsenal that he commands well.

A.J. Hollis  MIF - 2017 - Palos Verdes Estates, CA
Uncommitted

A quick-twitch middle infield prospect, Hollis' good speed translates very well to his game both defensively and offensively. He shows very good range to both sides at the shortstop position, and his quick release also features quality arm strength up to 82 MPH across the diamond. He showed a line drive approach when hitting, with the ability to use all fields.

Tyler Holmes  2B - 2017 - San Marcos, CA
Uncommitted

The switch-hitting Holmes showed solid barrel control and fluidity in his swing from both sides of the plate to go along with quick hands and projectable power. He has the ability to spray line drives all over the field from both sides. He also showed very good arm strength, throwing 85 from the outfield and 81 across the infield.

Henry Leake  3B - 2017 - Burbank, CA
Uncommitted

Leake has excellent physical projection remaining on his high-waisted frame, and he has significant projection remaining on the mound as well. He pounded down in the zone with a fastball that worked 81-84 MPH in addition to a sharp curveball. He also ran well, and showed clean defensive actions both in the infield and in the outfield.

Tanner Lewis  LHP - 2017 - Las Vegas, NV
Uncommitted

Lewis took one of the best rounds of batting practice of the event, showing off some of the best raw power the event had to offer. He has legitimate bat speed and pop to the pull field, consistently turning the barrel and driving the ball into the air deep to the pull field. He's also a quality defensive 1st baseman, with good feet and solid arm strength.

Matthew A. Rodriguez  RHP - 2017 - La Puente, CA
New Mexico

Rodriguez's broad-shouldered frame projects well to add strength, which will certainly help the right-hander to add velocity to his already impressive fastball. He presently works 80-84 MPH with good, late heaviness that allows it to elicit weak contact even when contacted. He mixes in a shorter slider as well, which does a good job of giving hitters a different look.

Christopher Rubottom  SS - 2017 - Long Beach, CA
Wofford

What stands out immediately about Rubottom is his speed, and it plays both offensively and defensively. He ran a 6.76 60 yard dash, but what is important is that said speed plays really well on the base paths offensively, and then allows him to track down balls and cover lots of ground in the outfield as well.

Jordan Terrell  SS - 2017 - Fairfield, CA
Uncommitted

Terrell is first noticeable by the amount of effort he puts into everything, and the tools can certainly back up that effort to make him overall a good prospect. He showed the ability to play all over the field, with projectable actions in the outfield, infield, and behind the plate with the athleticism, arm strength, and feel to play all over at a high level.

He also caught really well, popping 1.96 seconds with quick feet and overall clean defensive actions.
