I'm surprised to see Miss St, USCe, and Florida where they are. On the positive, Bama is a big surprise to me.

Don't want to knock Bama, but they have played Tennessee, Georgia and Auburn. Hogs get Bama in Tuscaloosa this weekend. Wouldn't mind knocking them down a notch or two.

Florida is definitely struggling in a rebuilding yer from I understand.

USCe will be fine, they are still without their ace. You take away that sweep from my Hogs and their record looks a little better. They'll get it together I inagine.

MSU started hot but has now lost 3 SEC series to LSU, Kentucky and Arkansas. They're early SEC schedule has been nasty kind of like I feel Arkansas' has.

I feel LSU will win the west while Arkansas and Ole miss will end up fighting for that #2 spot. In the East I don't see anyone catching Vandy.

I'm anxious to see how LSU plays the rest of the way. No offense to Miss. State, Auburn and Mizzou, but now the meat of the schedule is coming up the rest of the way. LSU did what they were supposed to these first 3 series, but now I think we will see what type of team this is. Not having a No. 3 starter is a major concern.

Yeh bama is kind of there by default, but that doesn't mean they aren't dangerous. Florida is starting to get it together too though it might be tough for them to make the tourney still.

I can't help but think of how great our offense could really be if Jacoby Jones and Ty Ross could only hit for below average. With averages of .188 and .179 the inning they come to the plate there are already 2 outs. Guys like Bregman and Katz are going to cool off a little at some point and we are going to need to find runs from somewhere else at some point.

Yeh I cant figure out what is up with Ross and Jones but we have to have their defense in the lineup. Other than Bregman and Katz, I'm really pleased with the production of Christian Ibarra. That dude has a good bat and is great on defense. Surely the best player on LSU that nobody talks about.
