It is almost like the coaches don't give a dam about non-conference games since PAC12 play started.

This has been a pretty good game despite the early pitching problems.

Wow- glad the ducks could close the door after an embarrassing showing last year. Really impressed with our hitting and clutch last inning play. Loved it when Fitt declared the beavers the best in the league. Nothing like coming in and shutting the door in the ninth ducks style. We have outscored our opponent 22-6 in their own yard.. and the beavs had like 2700 show up to watch the #1 RPI beavs get beat. Wow- Have the beavs even beat the ducks this year in any sport.. Ok.. maybe womens basketball. 4 more to go. Was driving and it was classic listening to Parker. I think that guy is a real homer. He gets soo excited when anything good happens for the beavs.. and gets very unenthusiastic when things don't goe their way. The ducks would score.. and he would beat around the bush.. and finally, quietly dish it. lol. I can always find those beaver baseball games wherever I drive in Oregon though. lol Don't worry beavs.. this was more of a pride thing.. your rpi and rankings will hold tight for another week.

OM- You guys are overrated.. High RPI or not. Your colors are starting to show. Our bats are hot right now. Good to be a duck.. quack quack!! Oh.. and for those who say this does not matter... We all know how the committee loves records versus top ten teams..

6 of our 8 losses have come from teams with a current rpi of 10 or better. That is pretty good. If we can be in the top 16, I am a happy camper. Yesterday we were 11. Each week becomes more and more critical. Hopefully Utah does not stick it to you guys. That would be tragic, and really be a bad situation for even the ducks. We need you guys on the top. We have to win most of our pac games, and beat you in the series.. but you guys have to win every series but the ducks. Only way we get a national seed IMO.

Well, DM.. I commend you to even poking your head in this thread. Pretty much died along with your beavs in the ninth inning.. lol. This is a great win for the ducks. In your house.. I would have paid money to watch you guys walk out of Goss.

RD,

It's one game. There are still 4 more to go. As this is a mid-week game, and you saw how Yeskie was throwing our "lesser" starter, he obviously was not taking it as serious as we will during the conference series.

let RD have his day in the sun, the Ducks were just plain better on tuesday than the beavs. there are four games left and the three that really count are still a month and a half off.... but till then congrats Duckies, we'll get you next time.

Hmmmmm. Go figure. The Eugene newspaper crowing about the ducks.

Athletically, my cup is elite too! Says it right across the front.
