Hope the weather cooperates and we get all three games in without problems. Crowd still looks sparse before game time.

Me too. I had planned to attend both Sat and Sun games.

It's so cool to see a perfectly played hit-n-run.

And sending Conforto on that 3-1 pitch prevented an inning-ending double play, which allowed Smith to score. Beavers playing aggressively on the base paths. Good to see.

When I hear the word Utes, I think of the movie, "My Cousin Vinnie" when Joe Pesci was not able to pronounce the word Youths.

Sorry for the diversion.

And, great throw by Rodriquez to end the inning.

You mean that caught stealing at second? He looked safe to me.

Bob, or anyone: What is the story with that black guy in the white dress shirt dancing? Looks like a scene from the fifties, and I've seen it a number of times in between innings. Confused

Ya, the guy that got caught stealing. Didn't look even remotely close to being out.

DM, not sure what's up with guy in the dress. Looks like he is trying to land a gig on Dancing with the Stars.

Mitch Watrous, tough to give up one run and four hits over seven innings...and lose.

Thank goodness for Matt tonight. He was fantastic. The Beavs middle of the line up needs to step it up.

Bob, are you at the game today? I'll have to look for you.

Andrew Moore is dealing today. That one run in the bottom of the first could be enough for a second day.

What is home team announcer protocol WRT no-hitters? I know it's early, but Moore has retired all nine hitters he's faced, and I heard Parker mention retiring the first seven batters. Is it okay to mention it before you've gone through the order once, and then it becomes anathema to mention it or you jinx it after nine? What's the unwritten rule in the invisible Book of Baseball?

Beau Day looks like a right-handed Babe Ruth.

If he ever starts yanking balls outa the yard, I'll call him Babe Day.

He is a big guy. I wonder what position he plays? Heck, he probably runs a 4.3 40

Good game for Moore, 6.2 innings. I'm guessing were the game closer, he'd have been pulled after only allowing 2 runs... nice that his team is backing him up.

Another BeauDaycious Day for Beau. Six straight hits this weekend. Started the weekend 2 for 8 (.250); now sitting at 8 for 14 (.571).

Ute was out at second. He knew it, Tyler Smith knew it. If Smith had thought he was safe, he would have kept the tag on him as he slid past the bag. The runner knew he was out or he would have been more careful sliding over the bag and only got back on it when he heard safe.
