Well, last time I heard one loss does not define a team. That pitcher they faced is one of the better ones in the nation. So am I worried.. short answer is no.

Intersting article. Pretty much explains my post. I would rather lose to them early on, then late. So 8-1 is better than those beavos. Oh, and have you guys played anyone yet? http://larrybrownsports.com/cbaseball/cal-state-fullerton-thomas-eshelman-strikeout-to-walk-ratio/190605

Nebraska, Michigan State...yeah...we have faced a few good teams. So what happened? (and that article is from last year. It does not necessarily equate to good this year)

RD is confused because the Ducks 8 wins have come against Hawai'i, LMU, and Portland. So basically they are 0-1 vs good teams.

There are more people in the dugout than there are in the stands at the Oregon/CSF today. What's wrong with the duckie fans?

Not sure. Baseball is not really a hit there till the start of the season. I can't get the stream to work. Or is there one?

Weight Room, and that would have been a 2 run shot. Gosh that really stunk.

Tough loss today, nice pitching by the Ducks (being serious). Cal State Fullerton, despite their 3 losses (to Washington State, USC, and San Francisco), isn't bad this year. The Ducks (though it's still early) may have the same problem as last year. They were unable to win a series against a ranked opponent, the offense again looks shaky against decent pitching. I'm sorry for harping on you RD, just an easy target after puffing out your chest over the Beavs after 2 weeks (especially with the Beavs dealing with the Wetzler situation)...

I'll go on record saying the Ducks will either host a regional or get a favorable draw as a very high 2 seed. I just can't see them getting a national seed without the offense.

Some really young bats, Krook is going to be a bright spot. CSF is on a upswing right now, and the Ducks got put in their place. Thinking Gold might get the nod, which I have always liked. I think Chase should be our starting catcher, and still perplexed that Reed is our closer. That One Two punch of CSF is dominant, glad we made it a game today. Getting swept at home is a serious threat, and I hope they can at least salvage one. I don't care who you are.. a number 5 team should never get swept.. at home. Just saying.
