The Gators allowed just two hits in a 4-0 shutout victory over Boston College.

I can't think of the last time (besides this year with UF/UCLA) that a team has started out this dominant on the mound. Pretty impressive.

I know we don'thave the caliber of pitching staff that Florida and UCLA do but LSU has a team ERA of 1.50 with a WHIP under 1.00 and are averaging 10 K's per 9 innings through 4 games.

I saw Florida last weekend and everyone was throwing gas. Whitson (95), Gibson (94), Johnson (92), Desclafani (92), Crawford (92), Pantielodis (91). Im sure Maddox and the others were 90+ as well....just flat out scary to me.
