Solid relief for the second consecutive game; this time from Cingrani, Duffey and Chargois. Freshman Kubitza lights out through the first five innings (2 hits, 1 uneared run, 7 Ks), but hit a wall in the 6th inning...and USC capitalized big time.
Rice hurlers have struck out 12+ batter in three consecutive games-- probably for the first time since at least early in the 2007 season, and possibly back even further.
