Tryouts will begin July 28th at our facilities indoors and our field in Cumming.
Nationally ranked 15U and 18u Major travel baseball teams playing out of the North Atlanta area. The Jayhawks play essentially year round including fall and summer showcase events on college campuses along with top level Perfect Game, Triple Crown, and other elite events. We just played for the championship of Smoltz Grissom at Turner Field and over 10 of our 18u players are headed to next level to play in college.

Company Overview Select baseball team training out of Denny Pritchett's Catch & Hit (DCH Baseball) Academy and playing out of Forsyth County in Cumming, Georgia. The team is made up of premier baseball players in the northern counties of the Atlanta metro area and coached by MLB scout and well known instructor Denny Pritchett
Coach (Hitting/Catchers): Denny Pritchett
Owner of Catch & Hit Baseball Professional Hitting & Catching Instructor Oversees the programs baseball instruction working with the 15 & 18u teams. Former Catcher for St. Louis Cardinals organization and current scout for the Cincinnati Reds. Travel ball coaching in the Atlanta area for over 20 years including working extensively with the original Georgia Roadrunners national championship team.
Head Coach: Matt Phillips
Coach Phillips is a 1997 graduate of Milton High School where he was an all-region selection as a pitcher. He continued his playing career at Samford University where he pitched in games against Vanderbilt and his beloved Georgia Bulldogs. He then transferred to Truett-McConnell College playing on a team that was ranked in the top 15 nationally. Matt comes to the Jayhawks after serving as Varsity Pitching Coach at West Forsyth since the school openend and prior to that at Centennial High School where he was an assistant coach under Billy Nicholson for four years.
Asst: Chris Rubessa, currently a rising Junior Catcher at North GA College and former 4 years starter at WFHS.
