KS takes the early lead 1-0 in second. Glad I poked my head on d1 baseball. For some reason, I thought the game started at noon PST.

I hope they show another replay of the call at third. Watching my my IPad, it's hard to see if it was a good call.

Bad call. He was safe sliding in and and then had his hand on the bag after he slid off the bag.

DM, your comment about Cock Chewing caught my attention. I thought there must be some easy explanation so I entered Cock Chewing in my search engine. Big mistake.

Perhaps I should just take my wife's advice and keep some of my thoughts to myself. Nah -- I'm too old and set in my ways to change.

What is that Cock reliever chewing on? I know that sounds like a gross question, especially if taken out of context, but watching him chew on that piece of plastic or whatever is gross.

DM, I love the idea of developing ficticious forum names and posting. I'm sure it is currently being done. In fact, I wouldn't be suprised if FB created RD and Thorgreen just to keep us Beavers entertained. Just kidding RD. I also like the idea of a forum jackass. I might also suggest a forum idiot. Oh, maybe we already have one.

Heck, we can really have some fun. We can have the angry white man, the unemployed Duck Fan that recently lost his job at McDonalds, the angry black man, an angry gay guy, a transexual, a homeless guy that posts from his local Starbucks, and a clueless broad. We could really create our own little make believe community. Imagine the names we could attach to these individuals.

I started working on some other forum names. For the Virgin poster, I was thinking about one of the following:

Taged Out Sneaking Home
or
Sitting on Third Base
or
Out at the Plate

For the Duck who lost his job at McDonalds because he took too many bathroom breaks: Diaper Duck. I've attached a potential Avatar.

I think I will wear it next time I go to the Peacock. I wonder if it can be purchased in Blond or Redhead?

We already have one Knowing a little about DM, you guessed correctly about his English Teacher roots. I do remember my Sophomore Enligsh teacher from Highschool. To this day, I avoid ending a sentence with a preposition.

Raaaaaaaaaa Neeeeeeeer Beeeeer. Check the sell -by date DM. I think they stopped making it around 1980.

Okay, just to play fair, I'll officially claim both of Andy Lopez's bearded sons, neither of whom I've seen take the field or swing a bat for a single moment all year but who are both on the roster. When either is mentioned, I'll pluck a hair of the dog, and take a swig.

I didn't think the Ducks had a socker team.

Ha! I love the "report" smiley. Have to remember that one.

Some websites don't like you using certain common insults. Some folks who like to insult others (okay, I include myself among them) have learned to use homonyms or "slant rhymes" for common insults to avoid the insult filters. Hence terms like maroon, muddyforker, demonrat, ducksocker, etc.

Thoughts and prayers for a deceased family member

Matt, I appreciate that you shared the passing of your good family friend. In church this morning, our pastor also shared about a good friend that passed away last week. It was the first time I have ever seen him in tears. He apologized to the congregation before he shared as he said that nobody in church would know his friend, but that he felt he needed to share about the friendship, love, and bond that his friend and he have had since childhood.

I hope we all have specicial people like Richard and Jimmy in our lives and that we let them know how special they are while they are still with us.
