Anybody out there today watching the game and posting on Perfect Game instead of working? Or perhaps like me, doing some multi tasking.

Excellent pick off by Wetzler (1-3-4) to get out of the first inning. Hopefully, this pick off will slow the Cardinals from running today.

Try this link. However, you have to download a bunch of crap software. It works, but be careful viruses.

Try this link. Ophiman gave it to me and it is working great. It is KKNX, a radio station in Eugene.

I'm getting really fuzzy AM radio (I'm deep within the bowels of a wireless router-infested building that scrambles that kind of thing). Was hoping to watch, but there's something else messing that up here at work. And the iHeart radio app I downloaded just for this purpose isn't broadcasting the game but rather the sports station's "regular" programming.

Nice move by Benny to pick off the runner. I know Louisville's game depends on steals, so that is a good sign. Didn't even need to test J-Rod's cannon for the first nailed thief.

Both pitchers looking sharp today. This game has the feel of the UCLA and LSU game from yesterday. I'm guessing whatever team scores the most runs will win.

Hedegoba88, I'm liking your reverse psychology.

I am trying not to be Mr. Negative, but I don't see LSU getting by UNC. Cody Glenn is starting and he hasn't pitched against live competition in 3 weeks. That combined with UNC's mental toughness they have shown throughout this postseason facing elimination, LSU goes down.

Yes. The Cardinal's basketball coach was also in the booth.

Just turned it on on my work computer. Is that Karl Ravech in the booth with Kyle Peterson?

WOW, the pop up was close to being a fair ball. The Beavs are getting a little luck right now.

Davis is in a horrible slump.
The Beavs need to pick up a least two runs here.

Beavers getting lucky today. The Cardinals make their their error on what should have been a double play ball and the Beavers score two runs.

Pull him out and bring in the bull pen. Give them some opportunities to rebuild their confidence.

When I went to a meeting, the Beavs were up 3-0. What a pleasant suprise to see the score 10-0.

Dodger Matt wrote:
Okay, at 10-0, this is officially a blowout. Beaver Nation: Do you pull Wetzler and let that much maligned and intimidated bullpen build some confidence, assuming we might need a fresh Benny later on? Or let him nail the coffin lid shut?

What the heck has happened to our bull pen? At one time, it was considered one of the best in the nation.

Were they really not that good?

Did the coaches rely too much on the starters and not give them enough innings during the year?

Did the coaches yank them out too quickly when they ran into trouble and destroy their confidence?

Whether Yeskie is a good pitching coach or not, guys like Schultz and Child were fantastic last year. Bryant was an all-american the year before. Did these players suddenly lose their ability to pitch? I thought a coaches job was to take talent and help them develop and get better each year.

I guess Coach thinks that the pen is more likely to give up 9 runs before they get 9 outs

Has Mike Parker been off his game lately or is it just me. He just said the Conforto double puts the Beavers up 11 to 1. The score is actually 11-4.
There were several instances today where his voice inflection led me to believe the play had a different outcome and then his comments did not seem to match his inflection.

Good to see you Fred. I hope you are at home enjoying your St. Pauli Girl.

What are the Devils chances next year? Will they be a better team than this year?

Mike Parker just said that Conforto's on base % is 800 for the first two games of the series. I take back my comment in another post that Dylan Davis has had a better year. He may have until the last couple of games of the regular season, but Conforto has lived up to his all Pac-12 player of the year and All-American status thus far in the CWS.

Good timing for another great catch from Max Gordon. ESPN had just showed several of his great catches during the season.

You have to hit the cut-off man. Indiana throws home and allows runner to go to second. Now we have a game.

DM, your initial post is greatly appreciated. Just a bit of research on the word Hoosiers, or as RDQK, would say, Hosiers.
