Dates of Internship: May 11, 2009 - August 14, 2009

Approx. hours/week: 40-50 hrs.

Requirments:
- Applicants are required to work out of the Cedar Rapids headquarters.
- Interns are responsible for their own housing in Cedar Rapids.

Dates Traveling:
These are the events that we guarantee you will attend, but there are several other events we run throughout the summer that we will need interns at as well.

June 6-7 Sunshine events Ft. Myers, FL-Austin, TX-San Diego, CA-Fishkill, NY
June 17-July 27 WWBA National Championships- Marietta, GA (outside of Atlanta)
July 5-28 BCS Finals- Ft. Myers, FL

INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

- He/she will answer phone calls from and make several phone calls to potential prospects/teams.
- He/she will learn how the website and database are administered.
- He/she will work on roster management for several events.
- He/she will work with Marketing Dept. on future sponsorship and advertising deals.
- He/she will do various other tasks (faxes, mailings, messages, etc)
- He/she will travel to events across the country assisting with event management, which may include scouting.

COMPENSATION:
Interns will eligible to a stipend of $500/month.
When on the road for an event, all travel, lodging, and appropriate meals will be covered.
