Sean Long is a 2010 1B/SS/P with a 6'0'', 141 lb. frame from Missouri City, Texas, who attends Elkins High School. Long is a young player with a lean and projectable frame. He has long limbs and has plenty of growing left. Defensively he has loose movements showing athleticism and flexibility. Long has soft hands that will allow him to make all the plays. He shows very good actions around the first base bag, especially for his age. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a straight away stance. Long has a line drive swing plane, and shows bat speed through the hitting zone. He is a rotational hitter, but he keeps his hands inside the ball showing the ability to hit to the opposite field. He has a quiet approach, and he battles at the plate during the games. He has lots of potential.
