Jesz is a 6-2, 175 lb senior third baseman from Virginia. He's a 7.89 runner who runs with a very loose hipped side to side running action. Jesz threw 78 mph in infield drills. His best defensive position is third base and he gets good carry on his throws. Jesz likes to set himself and through rather than throw on the run. At the plate, Jesz has a no stride approach with quick hands and some bat speed. He's a pull hitter whose loose hips give him the opportunity to turn on the ball. Jesz starts his swing with low hands and gets some lift in his swing as the bat head comes through the zone. He projects well as a hitter as he gains some strength and physical maturity. Jesz is also a very good student.
