Norman Cherrett is a 2025 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Grand Beach, MI who attends IMG Academy. Medium, athletic build. Ran a 7.06 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, medium and even base with high hands in the stance, upper half dominant swing, rotational path, got into a rhythm and showed the ability to hit the ball all over the field. Ball comes off the barrel well with more strength coming down the line. Primary middle infielder, has solid range to either side with fluid footwork getting around grounders, two hand funnel out front, has the ability to change slots with good arm strength across the diamond, recorded throws up to 81 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, short and compact arm action, short stride down the slope, worked in the low-80s, getting up to 83 mph and mixed in a downer shaped curveball in the low-70s. Also worked out in the outfield, under control on the charge, choppy footwork getting to the ball, one hand funnel on the side, compact arm action and the ball comes out of the hand well. Developing accuracy with good arm strength, recorded throws up to 81 mph. Good student.
