2022 Great Lakes Prospect Showcase
Trey Meyers is a 2025 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-5 190 lb. frame from Glencoe, IL who attends New Trier Township. Long and lean athletic build with tons of physical projection ahead, stands out physically as a 2025. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a small hand hitch load, has good rhythm and flow into his lower half, loose swing with nice extension through contact, got the barrel out front consistently and showed his power potential well. Runs very well for his size, 6.88 in the sixty. Fields with a wide base and funnels the ball well, over the top arm stroke with some young carry on his throws, change arm angles throwing comfortably. Power potential is very intriguing as he fills in and gets stronger. Good student. Named to the Great Lakes Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
