2007 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
John Skibicki is a 2009 3B with a 6'2'', 200 lb. frame from Montchanin, DE who attends Tatnall. John has a very good build with a tall athletic body. At the plate John is somewhat raw, but has a lot of raw hitting tools to work with. He has good present strength in his swing with good bat speed. He is able to stay inside the ball fairly well and his power projects. In the field John has solid footwork and arm strength, but really needs to get more aggressive going after the ball. He lets the ball play him too much, but this can be cleaned up with practice. John is a player that should attract the attention of many mid-level college programs.
