Patrick Vance is a 2025 C/3B, OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Kalamazoo, MI, who attends Kalamazoo Christian High School. A taller frame with some slenderness. Longer levers in the upper half. Ran a 7.75 60-yard dash. Primary catcher who had a simple stance working out of the crouch. He had an open feet setup and then comes out of the crouch, replacing feet, ending up in the right-handed batters' box. He threw from a more three-quarters release with some length to it. Throws were at 71 mph down to second base with accuracy around the bag. A right-handed hitter who had an even base with a bigger hanging leg lift into contact. Keeps a lower back elbow and lower hands in his setup. He had an uphill swing path with hard turns through contact. Strength in the hands showed. He keeps the hands tighter to the body and then works pretty direct, staying short to contact with strength at contact. Produced 79 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Had a well-struck double in-game, working back up the middle to center field. Great student.
