Drake Heller is a mature bodied 2005 6'1/200lb. right handed pitcher from Houston, TX. He throws from a full windup with a long arm stroke in back. Heller falls off towards the first base side, which affects his raw stuff just a bit. Still he showed good command of the strike zone. He showed some good arm strength, pitching between 81 and 83 mph with his fastball. Heller’s best pitch was a 75-76 mph slider that had good spin and break to it. Heller also threw a 76 mph change up that had some sinking action. Heller used his strength well swinging the bat and had a very nice batting practice. He has a chance to become a very good college pitcher.
