Mark Orlecki is a 2008 IF/C with a 6'0'', 150 lb. frame from Pickering ON, who attends St Mary's HS. He has a lean, long build and hasn't begun to develop much strength yet. He hits from a open, spread stance with good balance. Orlecki has an upper body rotational swing and is looking to pull the ball, which he did well once during the games for a double. More lower half and more strength will help his swing. Orlecki is a 8.05 runner in the 60. He fields through the ball well in the infield and fields the ball smoothly out front. He has a low release point on his throws and developing arm strength that is likely best suited for second base as the game speeds. Up.
