2024 Coastal Indoor Showcase
Ryan Lewis is a 2027 C/SS with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Salisbury, MD who attends Parkside. Slender young build with some hidden wiry strength and more to come. Primary catcher on defense, has exceptional hands for his age receiving the ball, handled the best pitchers at the showcase flawlessly, moves easily and stays balanced, blocks confidently, has a very quick release on his throws driven by his fast lower half, good arm strength with more to come. Really stood out defensively. Also worked out in the infield and showed his athleticism there with good footwork and good actions charging the ball. Right handed hitter, has a comfortable stance with an open front foot start, has quick hands and creates some bat speed, sees the ball well and has rhythm into his swing, was timed up in the games and drove some balls hard. Still 14 years old and will be most of the summer. Has a high ceiling especially if he can continue to grow. Excellent student. Named to the Coastal Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
