Noah Powell is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Toronto, ON who attends York Mills Collegiate Institute. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, stays low on the approach to the ball, smoothness and softness to actions, works to a short and loose arm stroke with a quick release, nice lateral range, plays under control. Also pitched, athleticism plays in delivery and drives down the mound hard with intent; fastball topped out at 82 mph and worked in the 80-82 mph range, fast arm with a present feel for slider up to 70 mph which played well off of heater. Right-handed hitter, begins with a narrow stance and tight hand set with a high back elbow. Big move through lower half into contact, stays on plane through zone for a while and creates line drive contact consistently. Comfort working to the middle of the field, shows feel for barrel and projects with added strength. Very good student.
