Brock Bracamontes is a 2008 RHP/3B with a 6'5'', 180 lb. frame from Escondido, CA who attends San Pasqual HS. Bracamontes is a big kid with long limbs and a projectable frame. On the mound he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with a medium arm circle. His arm works well and he has arm speed. Bracamontes works fast, and he hides the ball. He has a plan on the mound with pitchability. He gets cutting action on his fastball that topped out at 80 mph. He also mixes in two breaking balls that change planes. He throws strikes, and he has projectable velocity. Bracamontes has upside on the mound. Defensively he has good hands at third base with an accurate arm. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a closed stance with solid bat speed. He is aggressive early in the count, and he stays tall through contact. Bracamontes is a good student as well.
