Brody Petry is a 2026 C/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Copley, OH who attends Copley. Medium build with room to fill. Ran a 7.31 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, unique handset with two hand gather out front, gets on top of throws with low lines to second, around the bag, solid arm strength, replaces the feet, high effort and intent. Took reps at first base, present arm strength across the diamond with accuracy, can manipulate the slot, developing footwork around the bag. Right-handed hitter, open narrow base, high hands, high back elbow, big inward knee lift trigger, longer path to it, deep hand stretch in the load and separation process, inconsistent timing, some impact with on time and extended, parts in the swing to project on long term. Solid overall athlete with good arm strength and power potential at the plate. Outstanding student.
