Kamron Fariba is a 2008 C/SS/3B with a 6'1'', 200 lb. frame from Saratoga, CA, who attends St. Francis High School. Fariba has present strength in his body with a mature frame. Defensively he has a quick transfer that helps produce pop times under 2.00, with a best of 1.94. Fariba has nice footwork that allows him to block balls in the dirt to both sides. He plays with high energy, and he can also play the infield as well. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a very wide base with a quick load. He is an aggressive hitter with a compact swing. Fariba shows bat speed through the hitting zone with leverage at the point of contact. He gets leverage at the point of contact and shows projectable power to all fields. He also has a good eye that should allow him to hit for average as well. He has good upside, and he is an outstanding student as well.
