Wendell Soto is a 2010 MIF with a 5'8'', 153 lb. frame from Sarasota, FL who attends Riverview HS. Small frame, some wiry strength. Quick actions, 6.57 runner, charges balls aggressively, quick release, throws from all angles, throws carry well, very good hands and balance, more arm strength than drills indicate. Switch hitter, grade better bat speed right handed, very open approach, quick hands, stays on ball well especially right handed, moves the ball around the field, high average approach, leadoff type with bat control.
