2005 World Showcase
Alex MacKenzie is a 2005 right handed pitcher from Keswick Ontario Canada with a medium frame 6 ft. 1 175 pounds. He pitches from a 3/4 slot with some effort. He stays tall, bows his chest and has good mechanics. His fastball topped out at 87 mph with very good cutting action at times. He throws a hard slurve with a good 11-5 break at 77 mph. He also has a sharp biting 12-6 curveball that topped out at 72 mph. He showed very good command of all his pitches and sat down all nine batters he faced, and had three K’s. He has solid mechanics and good command with velocity and will be a very effective pitcher at a high college level. He is a good student with a bright future.
