Kylan Snyder is a 2024 OF/RHP, MIF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Encinitas, CA who attends San Dieguito High Academy. Lean medium size frame. Ran a 6.88 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder with a quick first step and some speed to go get the baseball in the outfield. Fundamental footwork to the baseball, maintains some momentum working through the baseball fielding off to the side. Longer arm action with average arm strength and accuracy throwing to bases. Traits to develop into a next level outfielder. Hit from a narrow stance with leg kick timing at the plate. Slight uphill bat path through the zone with developing bat speed, concentrated effort to get the baseball in the air with the barrel out front and a high finish to the swing. Showed some ability to drive the baseball to both gaps. Showed fastball and slider on the mound out of a three-quarter slot. Clean mechanics with repeatable movements and solid average arm speed. Developing feel for spin on the slider that showed subtle late break.
