Matt Roberts is a 2010 C/3B with a 6'1'', 195 lb. frame from Graham, NC who attends Graham HS. Strong athletic build. Wide spread stance, big load to start swing, good bat speed, whips bat through hitting zone, keeps hands pretty short, can handle the barrell, consistent hard contact, drives the ball to the gaps. Good arm strength, quick exchange/release, 1.86 best pop, comfortable receiver. Potential to be an offensive minded catcher with very solid receiving skills. Could get some good draft interest. Good student, verbal to North Carolina.

Matt Roberts is a 2010 C/3B with a 6'1'', 195 lb. frame from Graham, NC who attends Graham high school. Ropberts has a good catchers body as well as excellent tools. He is quick behind the plate, receives well, and shows a good strong and quick arm. He also shows power potential as a switch hitter. A very athletic type catcher who needs to be followed very closely. Roberts is a good student and will be recruited by top college programs. He should also create some serious draft interest.
