2023 Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Trey Stenerson is a 2024 OF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Powell, WY who attends Powell. Stenerson immediately showed off the natural athleticism to start his event, posting a 6.83 sixty yard dash. As a primary OF, he displayed sound fundamentals and worked through the ball well, producing accurate throws on the bag up to 80 mph. There's further room in the frame to fill out and see arm strength increase. Offensively, the righty started from a narrow open stance with a loose hand set, effectively shifting the weight through impact with evident hip torque to produce carry to the middle pull side of the field. The stroke was fluid and compact with effortless power potential, posting an exit velo of 88 mph. Named to Top Prospect List.
