Repeated delivery well, arm was quick and smooth, low effort release, maintains stuff and velocity from stretch better than most top HS prospects. Steady 91-93 mph fastball, threw FB to spots well, pitched under control. Unveiled new changeup, nice arm speed and feel, promising pitch. Tended to lengthen stride and aim slider this outing, but it's a good pitch. Another impressive outing.

Jon Keller is a 2010 RHP with a 6'5'', 225 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Xavier HS. Excellent pitcher's build, strong and loose. More cross body this outing than normal, worked great for him. Threw downhill very well, powered low 90's FB to the lower part of zone, worked in and out, plus leverage to the plate. FB got on hitter's hard and quick. Flashed plus SL potential, couple were big and sharp, still a developing pitch. No sign of command problems from earlier in the spring. Impressive 2 innings.

Delivery coming together, was balanced with plus rhythm, throws very easy with smooth, effortless arm action. FB steady at 90-92, excellent running life at times, commands FB well. CB has good velo at 78 mph, showed hard spin, change has some deception. One of his best outings we've seen, if not the best. Keeps getting better. High ceiling prospect. Verbal commitment to Nebraska.

Lacks present feel for off-speed, slows arm on both, flashes CB spin, proper shape/velo, some occ sink on change. Could explode by next spring with some minor adjustments. Possible early draft interest. Good student, verbal to Nebraska.

Simple leg raise delivery, H 3/4's release point, downhill plane, leans upper body back but stays directional, minimal effort release. FB steady at 89 mph, touched 91, heavy sink when down, straight when up, turned over 2 seamer at 85 mph occ. SL has short fairly late break, tends to slow arm on change. Potential power arm with big velocity projection. Looked good even though had basketball games the last two nights.
