Jeremy Burke is a 2008 RHP/1B with a 6'5'', 225 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cy-Fair. Jeremy has a large 6' 5" frame with present strength. He has a very thick build with big legs and very broad shoulders. He holds the weight well, but is a little stiff with some of his actions. He shows bat speed as a rotational style hitter and flashes pop and power potential. Looks to pull the ball but can go gap to gap. His head flies off at times when he tries to pull the inside pitch. Defensively he is a big target on the bag and uses his feet well around it. He has some range, and makes a solid exchange. His top infield velocity was 75 mph. On the mound he is a high effort thrower that tosses on a downward plane. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot and has an online delivery. He commands his fastball well with a top velocity of 81 mph, and his curveball breaks 12-6 with good drop.
