Daniel Bishop is a 2008 C/P/3B/1B/OF with a 6'2'', 215 lb. frame from Owasso, OK who attends Owasso. Daniel has a medium frame, with an athletic look. He is a hard working catcher with good arm strength, and he makes consistent accurate throws with a solid transfer and release. His best pop time was 2.09, and he had a top velocity of 74 mph and he got better with each throw during the workout. Offensively he hits from a low crouch, and has a flat swing. His bat stays in the zone, and he shows strength with the bat. He took the ball to all fields during batting practice and produced some solid line drive contact. On the mound he throws from an over the top arm slot with good tempo and clean mechanics. His fastball topped at 76 mph. Daniel is also a good student.
