Hunter Haase is a 2025 RHP/C, 2B, 3B with a 6-0 174 lb. frame from La Mesa, CA who attends Steele Canyon. Features a medium, athletic frame with plenty of room to add. Primary pitcher with a two-pitch mix that includes fastball and curveball. Has an athletic, balanced, repeatable delivery while throwing out of a high three-quarters slot. Has solid spin on both pitches (2300+). Challenges hitters on the inner half with the fastball locking them up effectively. Curveball has eleven-five movement with depth. Has a quick arm with long arm action. Works quick and hammers the zone. On the infield he has high energy footwork and attacks the ball. Made all the plays with a clean glove and decent transfer. Solid arm strength and was accurate throughout. Throws out of multiple angles. At the plate he has a medium base with a leg lift trigger. Has developing bat speed while staying on a level plane with an all-fields approach. Ran a 7.40 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the 2023 California Prospect Showcase top player list.
