Carter Harcek is a 2027 RHP/3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Midland, MI who attends H.H. Dow. Primary right-handed pitcher with a lean and athletic build with long limbs. Smooth delivery with a medium sized leg raise to torso. Works downhill and in line well driving off his back leg and maintains good balance to the plate. Throws from a high 3/4 slot with a quick and whippy arm rearing back and coming full circle. Fastball ramped up to 85 with late biting arm side run through the zone. Could locate well. Went to a curve with 10-4 shape that he could drop in for strikes and tunneled well off his fastball. Also ran a 7.46 sixty. Played infield as well and was up to 88 from across the diamond. Moves well laterally and has a quick transfer and release making throws with good accuracy. Right-handed hitter with a high handset and deep load into the hips starting slightly open. Works up the middle well and impacts the ball hard. Strength to impact on display. Good student. Also named to the Top Prospect list.
