Williams is a 6-1, 190 lb third baseman from New Jersey with very good present strength and a mature body. He ran the 60 in 7.56 and threw 76 mph during infield drills. His arm works well and he should add some arm strength in the future. Williams has a simple approach at the plate with his weight pre-loaded forward. He’s effective on balls on the inside half and shows good bat quickness and some pull power. His approach tends to leave him reaching for balls outside where he can’t use his strength as well. Williams is a very good student as well.
